Compressed air which is contaminated by oil is a danger for production plants, the environment or even for health. "Oil-free" compressors are no guarantor for "oil-free" compressed air because of the ambient air/induction air. In most cases, a certain residual oil content cannot be entirely avoided in standard applications. Precise monitoring of the oil vapour content which is possible at all times is therefore all the more important.
THE METPOINT OCV Compact is a development of the METPOINT OCV, which has established itself in numerous applications. It retains all the basic functions of the METPOINT OCV but offers reduced measuring intervals (down to 0.4 secs) and a modular structure. It is compact yet simultaneously high performance.
It monitors the residual oil content of the flowing compressed air. Analyses down to a range of thousandth mg/m3 residual oil content can be continuously monitored online and during running operation. Samplings and time-consuming laboratory analyses are no longer required. The system is network-compatible, has a touchscreen display and offers continuous process safety. The acquisition costs of a METPOINT OCV system are insignificant compared with the consequential costs of a production stop.
